Contractual Invoicing Guidelines

When it is not in writing, it is not a thing...

Because chaos is not a payment strategy. When AP teams don’t have clear invoicing guidelines, it opens the door to late payments, duplicate payments, mismatched invoices, and all kinds of vendor drama. Requiring POs on invoices ensures every charge is legit, traceable, and approved before payment—no mystery charges sneaking in.
